History of Chitown HH – Past & Present
Chitown Home Health was founded by Robert G. (Bob) McCoy in 2018 with a vision to provide care for patients of all economic levels and medical conditions in their homes. The vision came from McCoy’s childhood when his parents spent their careers working with mentally and physically disabled children and from his 25 years as a lead courtroom trial attorney representing severely injured victims of toxic chemical
exposures and their families.
Chitown HH grew to serve patient referrals from large and mid-sized hospitals and many medical clinics in Chicago and surrounding cities within a 20-30 mile radius of Chicago city limits. The company is rated 4.5 star (out of 5) as a home health agency by CMS Medicare and cares for over 475 active patients at any given moment.
Chitown HH Is licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health and accredited by ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Health Care). With a field staff of more than 50 licensed nurses, therapists, and social workers, and office staff over 20 persons, Chitown HH visits over 100 patients seven days a week in their homes.
